These terms cover your use of the Wallpaper Calendar desktop application and this website. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The short version: use the app normally, and understand that a small independent product comes as-is.
The app is free for personal use, forever. You may install it on any computers you own. You may not redistribute modified copies of the app or misrepresent them as official.
Features that connect to third parties, such as Google Calendar sync, weather, and the AI assistant (with your own API key), are optional and subject to those providers’ own terms. Google sync uses the Google Calendar API under the Google API Services User Data Policy; see our Privacy Policy for exactly how data is handled (spoiler: locally, on your device).
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep it stable, and updates ship regularly, but we can’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we’re not liable for lost data or other damages arising from its use beyond the amount you paid for it. Your calendar data lives in plain files on your machine, so back up anything irreplaceable.
If these terms change, the update will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can simply uninstall.
